Volley for a Cure/Real Men Wear Pink

Each year, your Lady Cats volleyball team hosts two major fundraisers. These girls and their families work tirelessly to raise money and awareness for a great cause. The theme for this year is "More Than 4," meaning that only four percent of all money raised for cancer research goes toward children's cancer research. We want to change that!

This year, we have chosen to send all of the funds that we raise from the Real Men Wear Pink co-ed softball tournament, held at the North Island on September 11, and Volley for a Cure, held at WHS on October 14, to a charity of Megan Bugg's choice, the Children's Cancer Therapy Development Institute! These funds will help her finance an important childhood cancer research project. She has already raised over $117,000 towards her goal of $233,000. This will be the second project that she is funding. The first project cost $214,000, and it is now in pre-clinical trial, all thanks to her!

Order your spirit wear today to support this great cause. Let's pack our schools and town with pink! All orders will arrive at your student’s school in time for the Volley for a Cure event. As always, thank you for your support.
