Amy's Corner

Amy Salaba walked into WHS library in August 1999 and was a library aide until she graduated in 2003. She brought with her enthusiasm, motivation, and caring for all the students. Amy passed away in 2005. At that time, George and Carol Salaba requested that memorials are made to the WHS library. Mrs. Salaba wanted to share Amy's love of reading and continue her goal of helping others in pursuit of that goal. This led to Amy's Corner, which has now encompassed the entire library. At the present time, the family has donated over $50,000 to help with the purchase of furniture and popular teen books.
