A Message from Our Principal
Dear Parents/Guardians,
I would like to welcome you to Wilmington High School for the 2023–2024 school year. We are excited for this school year. It is truly an honor to be a part of such an outstanding community which values the education of its students. My goal as principal is to collaboratively create and maintain the best possible school environment which allows students to reach their full potential. I truly enjoy serving the students and staff at Wilmington High School. My goal each day is for our students to receive the best possible education while also teaching them the importance of becoming an individual of great character.
Our website is full of pertinent information for our students, staff, and parents as well as our community. Please stay up-to-date with your student's academic progress through Skyward. Encourage your child to become involved with any of our academic, athletic, or activity opportunities so they can enjoy the full experience of high school. It is the shared responsibility of parents, staff, and students to assure that students learn and grow throughout the educational process. In addition, it is our commitment here at WHS to provide a safe and positive learning environment.
Please feel free to call or email me at any time if you have questions or concerns. I look forward to having a great 2023–2024 school year.
Go, Cats!
Sincerely,
Mr. Scott Maupin
Wilmington High School Principal
